Nature's Miracle

We had a large setback to our housebreaking training on Saturday. Four accidents inside! I think the dog obedience class threw off Mickey's schedule. He comes home and drinks a lot of water (from all those salty hot dog treats) and then ends up needing to use the bathroom multiple times in the next hour. Additionally both Jamal and I were practicing with Mickey and he is so eager to please and wants to practice that he doesn't stop and ask to go outside.

Luckily we have an ally in our housebreaking.

Advanced enzyme technology that specifically neutralizes and removes pet stain odors and stains by working to eliminate organic substances that cause stain and odors.

Nature's Miracle. A stain and odor remover for pets. Dogs naturally won't pee where they sleep. Once they have established places for pee they will return there to eliminate. We obviously want the place to pee to be the outside courtyard. He is doing well there, killing small patches of grass by peeing over and over on the same spot. When he makes a mistake inside, it is important to remove all sight and smell of the urine so they don't return to that spot over and over. Most regular carpet cleaning products won't remove all the traces of smell that dogs can detect.

Mickey has accidents all over the first floor carpet, so at least he hasn't identified an indoor toilet area... He so quickly gets the other tricks we're teaching him, I just wish this one was up to 100% already.

Jamal has a theory that Mickey likes to chase the brush we use to work the product into the carpet. So he pees inside to see the brush more often?
Either way Nature's Miracle gets two paws up for helping Mickey get the hang of house training.
