This is a silver colored branch from some small plants our neighbors put in. It was laying on the sidewalk and Mickey brought it to the door yesterday. I was in no mood to pick silver pieces out of our gray carpet so I made him drop it (Grace's tip - picking him up makes him lose whatever is in his mouth). It sat outside in the hallway and then today he brought it into the house.
He was running all over the place to keep it from me. As you can see he ended up in the unusual treasure destroy spot under the coffee table. He has learned its harder for us to grab him there and it offers many points of exit for a great escape.
It was pretty fragile so it didn't provide the satisfaction of chewing like a stick does. On the plus side there were no bugs to clean up either!
