We don't subscribe to any newspapers here in Virginia. I wondered how would we pick up all the poopy that our little puppy would produce?
Shopping bags? Seem really large for a tiny little puppy...
I even brought some newspaper bags back with me from Naperville so I would have a something to use until we got a more permenent solution.
When Jamal picked up Mickey from PetMac (the pet store associated with Homeward Trails) he got Bags on Board. It is a small plastic holder that attaches to your leash handle and holds 10 biodegradable bags. It is great. You don't even have to think about it, when you take the leash, the bags come along with you. Also, since it is a nice bright blue, everyone can see that we carry bags with us and aren't going to be a smelly public nuisance.
Mickey's only complaint is that I once dropped the leash and hard plastic bag holder square on his head. He was hurt and worried about going near it for the rest of the day. Since then I've explained that this was my fault and shouldn't influence his rating of this doggie product.

Grace, we use sandwhich bags for Ru's little tootsie rolls. Maybe this may work for Mickey, although they don't come in this niffy container.
