Hiatus

We made it to Chicago!

The car ride took 11 hours and we had four bathroom breaks. Mickey did very well in the car. He stayed in his designated seat during the whole trip and only threw up twice.

We are settling in at my mom's house in Naperville and meeting the resident dog, Snickers.

Posts will be lighter this week as I help out with some family stuff.
