I have mentioned Mickey's home base before as a favorite place to bring treasures. Well, he also will collect his various toys and bring them back here to chew. Obviously the base of the stairs isn't very hidden so Jamal and I will sometimes refer to it as the 'secret' hideout.
I'm glad he's chosen this spot because it allows me to keep half an eye on him while working to try and make sure he doesn't choke on pieces of his disintegrating toys or use the bathroom indoors.
We have had to spray down the cables snaking along the edge of the carpet with bitter apple to stop him from digging/eating at them. Luckily he stopped pulling at them after a few applications.
