I hate walks.

"I can't believe you dragged me out in this beautiful weather for a walk."

Here is the typical Mickey "I hate walks" stance. He is not pulling ahead of me, he is dragging behind. Notice the sitting down. Also, how he is starting to turn his back. Sometimes he turns his back to me and sits down, not even wanting to look at the direction I want to go.

Come on puppy! I know you have energy and you are starting to sniff along in the grass for the 500 dogs in the neighborhood that walk by. If you come along with me we can get treasures...

Mickey doesn't do any business on his walks. We have to take care of that in the courtyard before we leave. He has started picking up on other dog's markings along our route, but hasn't yet tried to leave anything for them. He probably isn't ready to alert other dogs to his presence yet...

*I keep forgetting how small Mickey is. Look at that picture, the sidewalk seems like an enormous expanse. No wonder he doesn't want to walk.
